14:12: [The Dojo] Chronita: The first topic deals with a new position in our org hierarchy that I considered and created, and that the council recently approved – a Vice President (VP for short).
14:13: [The Dojo] Chronita: The VP basically clarifies the immediate line of succession should I need to step down for any reason, and also distinguishes a certain individual as "leader" of the org if something important happens in-game and I am not available.
14:13: [The Dojo] Chronita: In addition to these rather extreme duties, the VP will serve as a senior council member, imbued with a higher lvl of trust not only from me but also by the other council members should they wish to bring up issues that may be contrary to my own personal views. While he/she will in many ways act as my closest advisor, I'd also like the VP to have the ability to speak frankly voicing the concerns of the council/org.
14:14: [The Dojo] Chronita: The VP will have a static council seat, bringing the total number of council members to 9. In the future, if we have a full council vote on an important issue, the VP will have the tie-breaking vote. In past consideration this was a power I held, but at this juncture I am beginning to desire a more diffuse power structure. I will still be able to give my opinions on the decisions, and vote as well on issues such as promotion and what not. These changes are mainly for large, very important items, ones that we have not really had to deal with since we initially established most of the rules for the org after its creation.
14:15: [The Dojo] Chronita: The VP will be a General in rank like all council members of course, so this position is totally extra-game. Also, the VP is chosen by the Sensei and approved by council.

Therefore I ask that all candidates are certain that they can/are willing to accept these duties and carry them out before deciding to run for a seat.
