14:06: [The Dojo] Chronita: Ok, I just have 1 major announcement for today, which is the reason for the mandatory nature of today's assembly ;)
14:07: [The Dojo] Chronita: As some of you may already know, I have recently been considering stepping away from AO as most of the fun for me seems long gone, and has for a while. The re-organizational efforts within the org, along with the FotD changes and such I had hoped would stir up some excitement and new life, but alas not much has changed. 
14:07: [The Dojo] Chronita: The main reason for me staying around the past months has been anticipation of the AI expansion, in hopes that it will make the game fun again, and possibly spice things up within Dojo as well. However, I have now come to the conclusion that I can not sit around and wait for it as I have been - I need to do more with the free time I am granted these days, and my life is beginning to demand so as well.
14:07: [The Dojo] Chronita: Therefore I have decided to take a leave of absence from Dojo, and from the live server as a whole as well. I will continue to be involved with AO during this time via the Professionals program and on the test sever/AI beta (when it begins). I can not however continue to devote meaningless time to the live server as well, and I do not wish Dojo to have an inactive leader for the coming months.
14:08: [The Dojo] Chronita: To that end, I have discussed with Thaylia and she has agreed to assume leadership of Dojo/FotD during my absence. Basically, this comes as a temp job with the chance for it to become permenent ;)
14:09: [The Dojo] Chronita: I currently am planning to return to live when AI is released, and depending on how the game changes, I might feel like leading the org again. If however I do not feel that way, or I even feel AI is not worth me returning at all, I will then more than likely leave AO entirely, and Thay will remain president.
14:10: [The Dojo] Chronita: Now I will not totally be absent during the coming months. I will continue to update the website as needed (figured it is easier for Thay to send me logs and such and handle it on my own than trying to ship all the files and such to her  ).
14:10: [The Dojo] Chronita: On the forums, I will make Thay an administrator, so she will be able to handle all forum activities. I believe the forums will need to be paid for in June again as well, so i can help out there with the fundraising. Also I may from time to time log on to chat with ppl, or maybe casually play my shade some, which is somewhat fun still  If I decide to leave after AI tho, all these things will be phased out of my hands and into Thay's or anyone else who would like to take over administration.
14:10: [The Dojo] Chronita: Now Thay has been gracious enough to take over the helm, but I would like to make sure she has the support of the org as well to help in the transitional period here, especially from the council members. While I am gone she has the final say on things as I have had in the past, but as always it is much easier to rule with support than without it. I hope you all will be able to lend yours in the coming months, and I of course will still be around the forums and such to help as well.
14:12: [The Dojo] Chronita: In closing I would like to say a few words on how much I have enjoyed serving as the leader of The Dojo for the past almost 2 years now ;)
14:12: [The Dojo] Chronita: Until Dojo, I had never even been a part of an online organization, and thusly have never had the opportunity to serve as a leader of any sort in one ;)
14:13: [The Dojo] Chronita: While it may be entirely in contrast to my RL personality/character, I consider my time here to rank among the best experiences in my life thusfar ;)
14:15: [The Dojo] Chronita: The principles and people The Dojo has turned out are top-notch, and a true testiment to how friendship and good-naturedness can create something special :)
14:16: [The Dojo] Chronita: While this is not goodbye per se, I still want to tell you all that I am very proud to have you as representatives of this org, and I consider it a great honor to have served as your President these past years :)
