Monday, April 22nd

Yesterday we had our weekly assembly

  • We discussed Morgan la Fey (from Camelot Castle). It is possible to take her down with about 4 lvl 120+ MAs. Respawn time is thought either to be 3hours, or to be random anywhere between 1 min and 24h. Morgan drops a nice torturing tool, probably the best MA weapon
  • The new team missions are thought to be very good for loot and exp. But the boss is tough, and randomly so. So beware before going to the final room! and take your time, those are huge.
  • AOMD is confirmed to be working with the current version, although many ppl still have pb. See the general forum for help
  • Chronita announced that 14.2 may be due on test as early as next Tuesday. Can't wait to have more news!
  • Whiteeagle may be less on in the immediate future due to RL work constraints

Thanks all for attending. You can see log here.

Wednesday, April 17th

Not much news today, so 2 pics: the Dojo's Angels, and the levitating sensei (aaah the power of the mind;)

Monday, April 15th

House Chanoyu (Chronita) organized our party of 200 members / and first Master 10th dan (Lethalfire). Several contests were held:

  • Best female outfit: Akirafex
  • Best male outfit: Limten
  • Best dancers: Aeliela and Sseagal

I'll put the prices and pictures later (a bit late for a full report now;). Great thx to Lethal who provided a lot of credits for the prizes :). See here the pics: a pic of the group, the ladies' contest, the guy's contest, Aeliela.

We had our weekly Assembly, short one, but no need for long discussion when agenda is light!:

  • Chronita reminded us of the upcoming party
  • Vonture presented the armor bank and answered questions
  • A couple of other topics were discussed - see log

Thanx all for attending. See log here.

Sunday, April 14th

Announcement on Armor Bank from VonTure:

Kamius, lovegod, Aeliela and I will be starting an armor bank. We will accept donations of any kind of armor and sort it into lines that are useful to us.

Armor classes that are not usefully to use will be sold and the money will be donated to the guild bank or used to buy some cheap armor that we are short on. We hope to set up a forum where we can post what we have and people can request what they need. It is to be decided when we will hand out the armor because if we handed it out as soon as someone asked it would get too crowded and cluttered. Each member of the group would carry several lines so that you know who to go to to get the stuff that you want when we are distributing.

The lowest quality level that we will carry will be 30 because armor does not become very important to around level 20 when with help someone is able to wear quality level 30.

It would work best on a give/take basis so that the bank does not run dry. We are not going to count who takes the most and who gives nothing but we will watch for people who really seem to be outstanding with it.

I think that wraps it up if there is time at the assembly I will be able to answer any questions about this.

-VonTure

Sunday, April 7th

We had our weekly Assembly:

  • Were elected: Katjaka (re-elected), Sabbael, Striken7 (re-elected), and George W. Bush err I mean Maraskye, but those that were there for the drama see what I mean (if you're a loser and werent there, look at the log :))
  • Vonture, with Aeliela and Kamius will be starting an Armor bank. More details soon (watch the website/forums)
  • Chronita reported that on test, the phys init/melee init bug is suposedly corrected
  • AND: that Chanoyu will organize a new Org party next sunday (after assembly): for Leathal our girst Master 10th dan, and for the 200th member (not here, but let's be optimistic :). Contests to be expected
  • Varkin has left us to help a friend start an org. He left us some very nice gear and 2mil credits :) Farewell vark!

Thanx all for attending. we had nice homogeneous clor groups this time :) See the log.

Tuesday, April 2nd

Made some changes to the website:

  • Added a link to the very good guide done by Lethalfire, in The Library. If you have any comment to send to lethal, you can use the forum thread here.
  • I dropped for now the custom member list. It was starting to take me quite some work to update it. To keep the Country knowledge, which I find usefull, I put a country table. For the levels/rank... I put a link to the official FC listing of both The Dojo and FOTD, as well as a listing of ppl with specific responsibilities (Council member typically for now).
  • I updated the site to take into account the formation of the Functional Houses (see The Houses among others).
  • I updated The Dojo section, especially the part about rules. Included now is a section on behavior. I advise all memebrs to read it.

Wednesday, March 27th

Some screenies of intrests sent to me recently, so that you too can enjoy all what's happening in AO!

Last week, Grimmmy and some other ppl came across a big mean mutant.

On Monday, Chronita winessed a GM-event. You can read her interesting and detailed report on the forums here, and check the picture of the Unhappy Worker, and of the doc.

Atmar came across a mob head in a toilet :)

Also, do notice that the newly established Functionnal houses will start recruiting a limited number of motivated, dedicated and confirmed members. Contact the Houses Heads ingame for more info.

And finally, we will not have an Assembly next week-end due to easter holidays.

Monday, March 25th

Yesterday, Sunday, was quite a day - at least for the evening. One hour or so before our Assembly, several Omni factions decided on a raid Athen. The goal was to take and hold 6 strategic points in Athen. As we gathered to help our friends, we were assigned the assault on the South prison, which we helped take. Later, some of our highest lvls helped take out the cannons (err the sensei died in one shot ;). See pics of the ppl gathering in Newland, while others were attacking Athen. And the attack on the south prison.

We then held our weekly Assembly, that was a bit troubled by clanners lost in Rome ;). Little major issues discussed.

  • We should precise the way we handle non-MA applicants. FOr the time being, we would only contemplate hiring non-mas provided it's one hire  profession, and very high lvl (100+?)
  • We had the functionnal houses started, check news of saturday.
  • Chronita confirmed that MA skill depends on melee init :(

After the meeting, it was time for the Org Raid: An attack first aimed at Morgan la Fey, but then, with the support of Inner Circle, at the Tarasque directly. See here the first strike team. We did take down Morgan la fey (see a nice portrait here - sexy!). Unfortunately the first attempt to take the Tarrasque was a failure, and we only managed to get it to half health. A second attack was then launched an hour or so later, with more support (see pic from Chronita). This time we managed to kill the beast. And even better we managed to kill clanners that treachfully tried to attack us in the back while we were dealing with the beast.

Saturday, March 23rd

After some delay, here is the description of the new Functional Houses that we will get started.

Those Houses will be headed by one council member (there might be other Council members in it too. If the leader of the House looses his Council member position, he will also loose his leadership of the House, but not his membership). They will recruit a limited number of motivated and confirmed members of the Dojo (details to be set by each House Leader).

Those Houses are granted a role (see the description below). They are the only ones allowed officially to pursue this role. Eg: Nobody outside House Gassho is allowed to recruit (even if you can technically). If you want to recruit, apply to House Gassho first.

Those Houses are not level-based, unlike the standard, member-initiated Houses.

Each House, like any other House, will receive a dedicated forum. However, some will be private: those of house Gassho, Fudoshin (and later Kempo) for obvious confidentiality reasons. House Chanoyu’s forum will also be private, as it will be used to organize events (and you don’t want to spoil the fun), while the official and public ‘events’ forum will remain. The unused ‘recruiters’ forum will be deleted.

You can be part of several Houses, although we don’t encourage this. You cannot be the leader and/or the prefect of several Houses however.

House Chanoyu (headed by Chronita. Other member: Striken7): This House will be in charge of organizing events. This includes:

  • Inventing and organizing any event (raids, parties, etc…)
  • Being the point of contact for any member that has an idea. If you want to organize an event, contact one of Chanoyu’s members to a) let them know b) receive some assistance, from indication, to manpower or credits if needed
  • Also being the point of contact for other orgs (FC??) that would like to organize cross-org events

House Kakushi (headed by Punkmuffin. Other member: Chronita): This House will be our Intelligence service: they will KNOW everything: where are the special NPCs, how to do Alvin’s quest, what’s next on Test, what’s the best Bow to use, but also what is happening within the clans ;).

House Fudoshin (headed for now by Sensei. Other members: Flupper, Punkmuffin, Katjaka). Both our internal "police" and general administration. Basically, in charge of enforcing the rules or decision of the Dojo. Note that this does *not* include justice (done by the Council). This does however include: promoting (demoting?) ppl, /tell ppl that are spamming the chat; help manage members dispute, be a channel to file complaints (although for now you still can /tell directly any Council member too, but we advise you to /tell a Fudoshin member, that may be able to help you quicker) etc... The members of Fudoshin will be carefully chosen and trained to make sure they are not abusing in any way this role, and on the contrary know how to well handle any difficult situation. If you ever have any issue with a Fudoshin member, /tell the sensei directly.

House Gassho (headed by Flupper. Other member: Timia): The House in charge of recruiting. It will definitely recruit more ppl. Only it members are allowed to recruit. You can apply if you want to recruit too. Its members will be trained on how to recruit etc…

House Kempo (not headed as of now). This House will be our (PvP) defense, were we will gather our experts in PvP (ok ok not sure PvP and MA work well together. But lets see after 14.0 ;)). For the time being no Council member is a PvP expert, and we don’t seem to have many PvPers in the Dojo. Although we will never be a PvP oriented org, it would be nice though to have a strike force of PvP trained professionals. If you are into PvP /tell the sensei to see how we could get this started.

About Dramas.

Note: the following post is not aimed at anyone specifically, and not even at a specific event. It is really the combined experience over several, completely unrelated, events.

From time to time, ppl don't get along at some point. They start to argue bewteen them, some are right, some are wrong, but that is not the point. The point is, those arguments can become very emotional. And as they are relayed on the org chat, the emotion can spread to many other ppl, even some that may just have been trying to help. So here are some general rules/guidelines to follow when this happens:

  • Personnal mater should be taken on personnal chat (direct /tell, temp group etc...). The Org chat should NOT be used to settle publicly issues between members.
  • If an issue cannot be resolved by direct discussions between members, you should involve either a Council member, or a member of House Fudoshin (to come: this House will be responsible for the administrative organization of the org). These ppl will file your complaint, and try to help you solve it if possible. If it cant be solved, the matter will be brought before the Council, the only one to have disciplinary power.
  • The Dojo supports positive values such as friendship, compassion, discipline. Your public behavior should follow these values. In particular, not only is it not appropriate to take a public forum to settle a private dispute, but it is not acceptable that ppl decide to leave the org (or threaten to do so) in protest to whatever they are not just happy with (other member, org decision etc...). Your membership in the Dojo is to be taken seriously. If you decide to leave, you will only be re-admitted after a decision from the Council, that will consider why you left in the first place, and why you changed your mind. Here again, functional houses will help.
  • As mentionned above, we have been finalizing in the Council the "functional Houses". I have not yet posted their details, I apologize for that, it should be done this week-end. These Houses will enable us to better structure the Org, and give responsibilities to manage pb you might have. More to come soon!

So let me finish by saying that we love every single member :). But if you happen to get into an argument with other ppl, 1) dont think this is the end of the world - be zen - 2) take such issues private or through the appropriate structures (to be put in place shortly).

Reactions? comments? post here!

Thursday, March 21th

For those that never saw a marriage, Kromos (head of Blackops Inter-Pol) will get married with Vaeris on the 4/6 6pm GMT.

And yes I know I haven't yet posted the details of the new Functional Houses, but I do have a lot of work RL ;) I will do that tomorrow or at least this week-end!

Wednesday, March 20th

Annias and Timia entered a Poetry Tournament on the "Live Chat" forum. Check it out here !

Tuesday, March 19th

Org Raid: For the higher levels (~70+) we will try to go camp Morgan le Fey to get one (more?) torturing tool. Check here to comment / sign-in!

First Order collapsed. For those who don't know First Order, it was AO largest org, with nearly 600 members! (on RK1). It was also run by a few very dedicated ppl (windowlicker, darkghosty, detonate...) that had tried to structure it a lot. Yet it had apparently became unmanageable to the point the oldest members left (or rather they renamed FO "2nd order", then re-created FO separately, and 2ndO was renamed Prime order).

What it tells us is that being a large org, as we are starting to be, is a challenge. We must all, more than ever, be dedicated to make the Dojo a great place to be. This starts by recruiting not everyone, but members we think will be a good addition to the org. It continues by everyone contributing by its good spirit to the pleasure of each one of us to be part of the Dojo. The Dojo has been a great place to be until now, and it shall remain so in the future!

Monday, March 18th

Summary of Sunday's Assembly:

  • The color of the name has been voted to be set back to plain during assembly (to allow logs) and to try to switch it back to ivory otherwise (knowing that there was a risk this couldnt be done anymore). Well it seems it cant be done anymore, and we are stuck in plain mode for the moment.
  • Open discussion about the money in org bank (>11m creds!! thx to all those who contributed). It seems currently ppl think it should mainly be used if we organize events, and otherwise wait for Guild houses to be implemented. Too bad we dont have a savings account, kuz not sure we will spent a lot on guild house in the short term :). Tax will not be used atm, only donation-based.
  • We will be starting special houses, with administrative role (events, recruiting...). More news on that soon.
  • We should try to find a high lvl engineer (maybe in FOTD? or we could even invite him directly in the Dojo? or just a friend we could harrass :p)  that can improve our MA weapons.

Read log here, and see pic (from Siniyar) here, with everyone having nice fists of fire :).

Saturday, March 16th

Llendwyn, Sharpblow, Takisan and Limten have formed House Kachi, whos moto is "To strive for victory in all things". Current lvl is 45-51.

Thursday, March 14th

Just saw today that some ppl started an homonymous org on RK1. Hum some people lack imagination ;). Just to clarify, this is not in any way related to us.

Tuesday, March 12th

Due to an ISP shutdown - of more than a day!! - i couldnt log on monday and tuesday night, nor update the website. I hope I can do better soon, and update the content.

Check the forums for news, including for some news about 14.2!! (IP Reset, Over Equipping nerf etc...)

Tuesday, March 5th

The last week saw many new members join (22! - see below). Please all make an effort more than ever to welcome these new members!

In other news, the first peaks at the 14.0 have been leaked by FC. Read forum here.

Sunday's Assembly:

  • Vote for 4 Council Members: Chronita and Flupper were re-elected. New Council members are: Timia and Punkmuffin.
  • Various other discussions took place, but no specific decisions were taken.

The log is not working anymore for me. So no more log unless someone is more lucky than I am!

We then raided SoM. Ok: let's say that a large number ogf MAs of lvl 30-100+ had little pb there ;) By the time I managed to find an Agent to buff me into my armor, I barely made it for the final combat with Neleb. Which btw still took quite some time considering the number / levels of ppl!! Fun but maybe a bit higher bungeon next time? See screenies here and here (thx to Ookamoo/Shimarea)

If you want to organize raids use the "events" forum, and/or ask me so that I can publicize it on the website.

Saturday, March 2nd

This week patches 13.8 then 13.9 were released. The good news is in the end most MAs will be better off. The bad news is this game is managed by fools! After weeks of working on MA bugs, FC releases 13.8 which reduces min dammage - the main bug of MAs. Few of the other bugs are fixed. As everyone is pissed off, FC releases a new patch 2 days later, dramatically increasing dammage - this time including min dammage. Like if some high profile guy in FC had suddenly kicked the devs. And by the way, the in-depth MA fixing patch is still not here. But at least, while we wait for it to come some day, we have more fun now...

Sandzibar, Flupper, Bizatch, and Fantomen have created House Zanshin.

Tuesday, February 26th

Check out the very extensive guide for Bow  Mas that Lethalfire sent me! Visit The Library where I posted it.

Tomorrow, as you should know ;) comes a "love MA" patch. Some nice things in it (mainly fixing the bug with MA weapons, the part about change in MA dmg being as much a curse as a gift). Let's hope its not the only one, because we need more than that!!

New Members: Arkeen (Apprentice), Ewall (Apprentice), Femseleen (Apprentice), Hopposid (Apprentice), Shlayer (Apprentice), Spdslice (Apprentice), Turbodrive (Apprentice), Zakuza (Apprentice), Lotustiger (Initiate), Osmodius (Initiate), Stykk (Initiate), Yewn (Initiate)

Promoted to Master 5th Dan: Flupper

Promoted to Monk: Thauraz

Promoted to Apprentice: Frip

Congratulations / welcome to all, and for new members, remember to post a small introduction to your character on the appropriate thread in the forums!. Also remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section).

Sunday, February 24th

We had our weekly assembly. Points discussed:

  • Houses: approved unanimously. We will be starting these, and I will post more details soon. But basically, if you want to form a House with friends with whom you can team, just say so to me or any Council member. The Council will (quickly) give his approval and you shall get going.
  • Next week Chronita will organize a raid on SoM for all levels of ppl interested. And anyone of you that want to organize more raids is very welcomed to, and will find all necessary support to do so. See event post in forums here.
  • Remember that next week we will elect 4 council members (mandates of Lovegod, Flupper, Chronita, Maraskye coming to an end)

If I missed any point, tell me, connection pb prevented me to join the first part. And if you have the log, let me know too, mine doesnt work, and I dont know why - it worked before...?

Tuesday, February 19th

Im a bit sunk in work so im not on as much on as I would like, and i'm lagging a bit as for updating the website. Here is threfore a long update, aggregating the past few days, including the week-end:

The Assembly. I couldn't attend, it was managed by Chronita. I don't have the log, so if someone has it, send it to me (Chro's log did not work). No specific dicision was taken. The "Houses" suggestion (see forums) will be voted upon next week. I will post a longer summary if/when i get a log ;).

Last night, a few members tried a new kind of guild hunting: doing a high-level hunt / mission (eg. lv 150 mission) with a team of high-level (100 ish) and a second group of lower levels. It needs quite some discipline, but can be very lucrative it seems. Lethal has posted on the forums to describe how they did that, and what rules need to be respected. Read them here. And you can check pics of the Dojo Dream Team here from Grimmy and here from Whiteeagle.

We will miss Kashuya, one of our founding members (then called Elariah), who has decided to cancel his account. The account will survive for some more time, and we shall maybe see again Kash a few times, but its seems not many more times. Farewell Kash!

Although we are still 138, there has been a lot of changes in members. A lot of characters have been automatically deleted by FC (or by their owners) because there were not active. But quite a few have joined, and we also have 3 new Master 5th dan (and a few others almost there too!):

New Members: Haljukeen (Apprentice), Lofang (Apprentice), Sakuza (Apprentice), Soulkane (Apprentice), Whiteeagle (Apprentice), Biyo (Initiate), Frip (Initiate), Kongfo (Initiate), Omnimastah (Initiate), Wudan99 (Initiate)

Promoted to Master 5th Dan: Katjaka, Lethalfire, Sandzibar

Promoted to Monk: Branash, Jokkmokk, Timia

Promoted to Apprentice: Xangol, Zanzoken (26 levels in a week!),

Congratulations / welcome to all, and for new members, remember to post a small introduction to your character on the appropriate thread in the forums!. Also remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section).

Friday, February 15th

Patch notes for 13.8 are posted, and 13.8 is on Test. Looks like we won't have to wait as long as for 13.6. And as hoped, some MA changes are in (especially increased dmg output)! good! Though still not all we need (MA weapons are still bugged etc.). One good news: BwT will not be nerfed (they will change dmg descrption instead of actual dmg output). Check the official site or the Dojo Forums for details and discussions!

And congratulations to our two news Masters 5th Dan: Sandzibar and Katjaka!

Monday, February 11th

People are more and more settling their appartment in H3. Great to invite friends! (see pic of me inviting 3 friends in mine)

New Members: Lethalfire  is back (Monk), Lysrell - the alt of Whiteorchid (Monk), Snowdrifter (Monk), Enokrad (Apprentice), Jokkmokk (Apprentice), Missana (Apprentice), Shimarea (Apprentice), Minghao (Initiate), Playmates (Initiate), Xangol (Initiate), Zanzoken (Initiate)

Promoted to Monk: Bruecelei, Freehawk, Laomei (fast!), Sabbael, and, last but not least, Hollowed. Hollowed was our only Council member <50, we'll elect another one next time (early march) - Hollowed will of course remain at least until the end of her mandate in early April ;)

Congratulations / welcome to all, and for new members, remember to post a small introduction to your character on the appropriate thread in the forums!. Also remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section).

Sunday, February 10th

(Assembly summary below)

I took a trip to Camelot Castle (see an aerial overview of the castle here), which is quite nice. It is possible to reach it by whompa Newland -> Athen -> Avalon. But once there, run to the castle to avoid clan guards!

Check out the map of the first level (click on room names to see picture!)

This level is 100% and nobody attacks you (even though the knights are clan). There are more levels, below. You access them through a door in the south wall of what I called the Ball Room. But there it's 25% and you don't survive long if you dont have the appropriate level (I got killed within seconds when i was spotted by a minion), not to mention the clan guys around;). FYI: it is estimated that this static dungeon needs several teams of 100+.

Today's assembly:

We had no specific agenda, and so it was an open discussion. We discussed the following:

  • Striken7 is willing to organize a MA tournament in 2 weeks time. More details on the forums. There will be prices!

  • The org bank and taxes are operational. You can /org add bank $$$ to donate, or /org bank to see where we are. Some of the money will be used for the tournament (1mil+ already doanted! thx to all). Further discussion on what we can do with tax/bank : see the forums.

  • Appartments / H3: Those who don't have an appartment yet are invited to get theirs in H3, as I did , along with other ppl. We may even have a appartment decoration contest, and we could have appartment parties too :)

  • Chronita mentioned the upcoming MA changes, or at least what we gathered here and there. We are waiting for more info, but we expect the fixes to come with 13.8.

Ok the log didnt work with me, I don't know why, sorry. I someone has it, send it in! Good assembly again, thank you all for attending (especially to those - the majority - that wear their Oriental Suit, even if they have to find an agent again afterwards;))

Saturday, February 9th

I've updated the content of The Library. Nothing really new for you old timers, but some things might be helpful for the others. And do not hesitate to contribue: content, links etc... I'm looking for the webpage of the guy who did an excel sheet to calculate all the weapon damage / recharge time etc... send it in if you  have it!.

The MA patch could be the next one (13.8). This is hinted through several news items, such as Gaute saying the  next profession to be improved is MA then Agent, or Tekkor (www.agentsector.com) getting official answer from Funcom that Agent patch is 14.0 (13.9 should be the patch that corrects the bugs in 13.8). There's also the post by Cosmik saying that MA fixes weer in an "upcoming patch". So its becoming clearer now :) What we still don't know is what is in for the MA and when is 13.8 due :)!

Friday, February 8th

Omni-Tek Secret Service is organizing a PvP tounrmant on Saturday evening, open to all. THe only thing needed to participate is a mslal contribution from ppl not in OTSS, whether money or gear.

"OTSS is extending an invitation to all Guild for a "Fight Night" at The Arena in Omni-Ent Saturday, February 9th, 2002, @8PM GMT. We will go by classes, and then level. Certain classes will be paired up against other classes, for reasons of some classes are better at PvP then others.

Here are the classes:
NT/Doc/MA
Engi/Crat/MP
Enforcer/Soldier/Agent
Adventurer/Fixer/Trader
Level Classes will be decided depending on how many people show up for the event and their levels. Planned is that no OT employee shall fight someone that is more than five or six levels higher than them.

Fights will be NO LONGER than five minutes in length. I (Or a designated ref) will shout STOP and the player with the higher HP bar wins. Anything goes in this...if you wish your friends to twink you before this, feel free. Once you step inside of the Arena, no more buffs other than self are allowed.

This fight night will go on as scheduled this Saturday, February 9th, at 8pm GMT. We plan on having cash prizes and various items as prizes as well. For members outside of OTSS to participate in this event, you must contribute. "

Yet another Dust to Dust attack yesterday, with this time commandos droping from landing ships. Here is a nice close pic of the latest and strongest one from Branash, where we can see a few MA in action, including Katjaka and Bisan!

Also to be noted, an interesting letter from Gaute (here), a must read where he clearly states, among other interesting things, that the next profession to be improved is MA. Nice along with this thread from Cosmik.

Thursday, February 7th

Yesterday night, Omni Ent and Omni Trade were attacked by a commando of Dust to Dust. The attack was rather easily repelled by the numerous Omni tek employees that immediately gathered to support the overwhelmed guards.

Let's face it, I saw very little of it, as my usual 50 fps were more like 50 spf during this (FC some day it would be nice to fix lag!!). I just managed to take 1 good pic, here it is. Enokrad took a few more pics. An aerial view of the combats, and a closer look at the commando.

Of course, yesterday was also the patch day. Many things came with it, and as usual, as many undocumented as there are documented features. You'll have plenty more details in the various boards. Among the undocumented features, the org Tax system has been enabled. We may want to think about ways to take advantage of it.

Sunday, February 3rd

Ok a great day it was in the Dojo. A great Assembly, followed by a great "100" Party!

The Assembly was held in Rome red. It was probably one of the best assembly we had, so thank you all for that. The decisions taken:

  • Whiteorchid, Ivul, Roubinette and Lisala are replaced as Council members by Timeshifter, Hollowed, Bizatch and Katjaka
  • Ingame ranks system is completely changed. We did a rank reset by the way, so all of you are back to aplicant. To be promoted to Unit member, and have full Dojo membership you need 1) to post in the "introduction thread" in the dojo who you are. 2) when so, find a Council member, and , if you've been enough in the Dojo, you'll be promoted to full membership ("unit member"). Full detail of new rank system posted in The Dojo.
  • Recruitment will now be more controlled. Only selected (by the Council) ppl will be able to recruit, although every1 should be able after a while to recruit. Applicant will be checked by Council, and if Council agrees, and the applicant has posted who he/she is on the approriate forum, then he/she will be promoted full member.
  • The Guild House is now High Rise 3 in Omni Trade. When you have nothing to do, hang there! there are seats, a bank, etc... You'll find me there now rather than in trade.

Ok for some reason the log has not worked. So if someone has it send it to me :).

Then we ahd a great party to celebrate our organization having more than 100 members, but also Bizatch and Sara1 breaking the 100th level barier! Chronita organized it, thanks to you! See pic here. Several competitons were held:

A great time it was! Thx again to Chro and all who attended!

And finally, on a more personnal note, great many thanks to Chronita, Bizatch, Flupper, Grimmmy, Whippingstar, who made me a faboulous surprise by buying me a Yalmy to thank me for my contribution to the Dojo. Hey I was so moved by that, that i forgot to take a pic! so thanx again to you for this very very nice present. You couldnt make me happier :)) Not only for the yal - also the idea, i cant tell you how i felt when i entered the shop and saw you all there and understood what it was!. That was one of my best moment ever in AO.

And while I'm at it, thank to you all too for making the Dojo the nice place it is! - wahoo the 3rd of February shall be remembered in The Dojo as the "Thank You Day". hehe...

Friday, February 1st

It has been a quiet week, as everyone awaits the 13.6 patch. Many wonders should come with it, including a few sweets for MAs. Among other, we should have new backpacks (see picture from Chronita).

On an internal note, we have started on the forum 2 discussions about rules evolution. Some of you have voiced their opinion, but we want more feedback! Even if it's just because you agree, stilll say so. It's important. We will discuss tham this on Sunday, and if we come to a consensus, vote on them. Otherwise, we'll vote on them next week.

Also, we will vote on 4 new members of the Council, as the mandates of Ivul, Whiteorchid, Lisala and Roubinette come to an end. I suggest we elect at least of 1 member below 50th rank, to ensure proper representation of lower level members.

New Members: Kyranerys (Monk), Azurehawk (Apprentice), Epinelle (Apprentice), Laomei (Aprentice), Mukatil (Apprentice), Sabbael (Apprentice)

Promoted to Monk: Timeshifter, Varkin

Congratulations / welcome to all, and do find me in the game to get promoted to your proper org rank. And remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section).

Sunday, Januray 27th

To restore the peace in the Dojo, I had to exclude two more members today. Those decisions were taken this time by me, and I fully assume them, although we had initial discussions about them in the Council. I must state to all that this is not making me happy. But it was necessary. I hope we won't have to do that anymore.

All should also know that this kind of problems is nothing uncommon, and most large orgs have this kind of problems. I had a nice chat with Spdkicker, the highest level MA on RK2, and member of Inner Circle. He told me opf a similar story that happened at IC. Let us all move on and revert to the peaceful atmosphere we always had!

We had our weekly assembly where this topic was of course extensively discussed. Exceptionnaly I wont post the log for abvious reasons.

  • It was debated that the org had grown a lot, and that we were to think about ways to better control it. Several good ideas were discussed. I will make specific posts about that in the forums. Its important that all of you go there, read them and post!
  • We also discussed guild house. I remind you that FC has still not implemented them. So we thought about using a place as an interim guild house. Many people had many different visions, so we didn't vote yet. Use the thread for that prupose.
  • As a reminder, next week we will elect 4 new members in the Council, the mandates of Ivul, Roubinette, Lisala and Whiteorchid coming to an end. The members can run again for their seat, but Lisa is pregnant RL, so she wont (if im not wrong lisa? you're welcome too of course), we havent seen ivul and white, so we should imagine that they wont. Roubinette is on holiday, so she might, when she comes back, run again for a seat.

Thank you all for attending, I remind you all that you are supposed to wear the oriental suit that fits your rank (see The Dojo), which is the case of most of you, and that's great and gives it a very nice touch!

Promoted to Master 5th dan: Sara1 who now joins Bizatch. And they are waiting for Sandz! Grats Sara!

Saturday, January 26th

Today, the Council decided for the first time to exclude one member from the Dojo. Another one received a formal warning, as a couple of others have received similar warnings in the past, but then improved their behavior. I take this occasion to remind you all of what is and what is not the Dojo. This is a choice. If you do not feel at ease about it, you would better leave rather than be banned.

The Dojo is the Omni School of Martial Arts. As such:

  • We praise wisdom. We are not fool hearted nor hot tempered. We are masters of Zen, or try to be. We are balanced.
  • We seek inner strength. We use force only to serve Wisdom. We spare no fight but seek no war. We are no army. Our spirit is faster than our tongue or our fist.
  • We are Omni. We are order and loyalty. We respect the friend as well as the foe, the strong as well as the weak..

OOC: We do not Spam the chat channel. We do not harrass anyone, whether or not a member. We may be "maturely immature", but not "immaturely immature" (to quote Windowlicker of First Order). We are nice. We (try) be & have fun. We do not take ourselves (too) seriously.

The Council and myself will have no mercy for those that endanger the spirit of the Dojo, whether internally or externally. I had to make formal apologies to Omni Tek Secret Services after a recent event. I hope to do this as seldom as possible.

The Dojo must remain the nice place it is for its members, and be appreciated by the rest of RK2. As long as I  am its sensei, I will enforce every necessary measure for it to remain such, and the Council will ban - always after a first warning - all member that we do not fit. Hopefully, this will always remain a rarity.

If you have any comment on all that, use the forums!

Nikh.

Wednesday, January 23rd

Congratulations to Bizatch, our first Master 5th Dan (lvl 100 for those who don't follow)! Sandzibar and Sara1 should not be long too.

Im a bit behind in updating the website, due to very high workload RL so forgive me. The forums are rather active though, which is good!

Sunday, January 20th

We held our weekly assembly. It was supposedly without agenda, but ended up as long as usual (1h) with topics being proposed by people, and several decisions taken. Here is the summary:

  • It was proposed that "Friends of the Dojo" allowed chars that were not alters of Dojo members. This was rejected. However, it might be discussed again later on, when we have more experience.
  • Guild house: many people want one. As they are still broken, we will have an interim guild house. Go there to discuss it. We will try to vote on it next week.
  • It was proposed and agreed to give a color to the org name. White (ivory actually) was chosen. If this ends up being an annoyance, we will return to normal. For the time being its nice looking :). The only thing is that if you make a script with the org name, you should not use "the Dojo" but rather this name here (cut and paste).
  • Responsibility of Council members should be discussed on the forum
  • Trial period: All new members should stay applicant (no rank) for at least a week. After that, council will vote for or against the person staying in the org. This has not been voted upon, it will be discussed and voted next time.

Reminder: I'm all in favor of fun and livelyhood. But we need order for 1 hour during assemblies. So i remind all those that might forget that I am in charge of the Assembly, including when it starts, end, when we vote etc.. and that everyone is requested to stay on topic during a set discussion. People not doing so will be banned from the Dojo.

But overall, great assembly, and tanks to all for attending! Here is the log.

We are now #4 largest RK2 org. Keep on recruiting great people!

Wednesday, January 16th

Sandzibar sent us a huge collection of travel pics. For many of you who dont have a Yalmaha, this should motivate you even more, as you see all the wonders of Rubi-Ka. There are quite a lot of them, so i'll post them as a series, with one pic per update. Today, The Hammer Broodlings.

And for those of you who like statistics, check out this great site (weekly updates).

Monday, January 14th

Some needed precisions on upcoming MA fixes / nerfs were given by Cosmik - though still nothing on Bwt. Check the forums, I copied his remarks + link.

Yesterday our weekly assembly was held with, as often, about 25 members. You can see the pic here and the log there.

  • It has been decided that council would be renewed in the following manner: every month, 4 positions, corresponding to the 4 older members, will be re-elected. Exiting members can be re-elected. This way, each member will be elected for 2 month mandates.
  • The last 2 members were elected: Lovegod and Mara. The other 6 members, elected in prior cessions are Flupper, Chronita, Ivul, Whiteorchid, Lisala, Roubinette (the last 4 being the oldest, their mandates will terminate at the end of January).
  • Striken7 made an update on the MA tournament, and open a discussion, that was very discussed about wether ppl should be allowed to heal or not. The discussion is still goign on in the forums, here.

Thanx to all for participating!

So this week-end the first notes on 13.6 were released. Lots of us hade great expectations for MAs, after some posts by FC, but halas, nothing (ok in theory a couple of things, but as some ppl like Nutbar have rightfully pointed out, actually even less than meets the eyes)

New Member: Grimmmy (Monk), Reredumnalc (Apprentice), Silarus (Apprentice), Chronofist (Initiate), Sakuro (Initiate), Xenofist (Initiate)

Note: Levels in members section (hence promotions mentioned here usually) could not be updated due to AO server malfunctioning.

Welcome, and do find me in the game to get promoted to your proper org rank. And remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section).

Saturday, January 12th

See the pics: The mine, Fierce team posing, an inside pic, the team at the entrance of the Lab director's office, and then after the fight, the mighty fight against TIM. (thx to Chro for her pics)

For the record we managed pretty well on our way in, but died due to lag on our way out! Some great time. We may do another raid soon!

Sunday, January 6th

Short update. full one tomorrow. To say that today we:

  • Had a good assembly. Decided to have 9 council members instead of 7. Chronita and Flupper where appointed. We also debated secondary characters and Polekat had the great idea of creating "Friends of the Dojo". Then we also discussed MA tournament. Lotsa work ahead for Ozur and Striken7 :). Log is here And pic here.
  • Raided the Mine! full report and pics tomorrow
  • Created Friends of the Dojo! If you have a non-MA character who is orgless, you can join! "Friends" are featured on The Members section, next to MA char. Check it out!

Saturday, January 5th

Ok I've been a bit busy those last few days, and did not fully keep up with updates, so today's is eavier than usual. First some nice member submissions:

Maraskye sent some more & strange pics of the xmas party (see this one and this one). Check out the weird room - yes in Reet Retreat night club!

Chronita helped a high-level engineer kill the worst of all reets, the Iron Reet (see pic) - kids don't try this by yourself or you may get hurt!  That was when she was on her way to a mission where she found a second Yal, but could not manage to give it to anyone, as it disappeared before she could get someone in there with her!

And Epsymart sent some hunting pics of him, hunting with Katjaka, Bullitman, Kashuya and other fellow omnis. Also of him getting drunk after getting to 54 the day afte losing 90 xp! (see pics here, hree, here and here)

Happy New Year to ALL!

Monday, December 31st

December 30th Assembly:

Yesterday's Assembly (where i wasnt present, and which was moderated by Ivul), discussed two subjects:

  • MA Tournament: Ozur and Striken7 will try to organize another one. A third high-level member is welcome to join them in trying to organize it.
  • It was also reminded that guild chat is monitored by quite a fex people here, so we you post on it, remember that you are read by all of them, are try to refrain from posting comments that could offense people. The border between humor and offense can be hard to set, but as we are mature, we should manage both to avoid offending people and being offended too 'easily' also

I will post the log, as soon as i receive it!

New Members: Bizatch (Monk), Brocken (Apprentice), Ninjitsify (Initiate)

Promoted to Apprentice: Kirenas, Wingto

Congratulations / welcome to all, and do find me in the game to get promoted to your proper org rank. And remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section)

Well after some days where the title of highest level of the guild was disputed between Ivul, White but also Sandzibar, new member Bizatch simplifies the question as she is 85!

Sunday, December 30th

With the news that Yalmahas were spawning in missions these days, Flupper, Chronita, Whippingstar and myself decided to do a couple of them together (see nice pic, after Whip left; and before the orange Hammer decided to try his luck on us - lucky it wasn't of course). Halas, our Greed led us to try very hard missions, and we ended up aggroed by mobs and dying each time. Missions are tougher in group than plain hunting!

Later, Flupper, Sandzibar and myself went on helping newbies in the Backyard. After talking to everyone, healing everyone, answering  to questions of everyone, we tryed to talk to the guard. He appeared so dumb that Sandzibar ended up trying his luck on him. Lucky he was, as he started with a brawl crit, and Sandz would surely have taken him down, if he hadn't been aggroed by his fellow the Guide (see pic, the second after the start of the fight, and the second before its end).

New Member: Kirenas (Initiate)

Welcome, and do find me in the game to get promoted to your proper org rank. And remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section)

Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th of December

I wont be much online. But to all:

Merry Christmas!!

Some xmas events to report: DaddyDisco became DaddySanta as he gave away all his gear (long story, but lets say he's quitting AO). A huge line formed to get a piece! (see pic with Kashuya and Maraskye). Then Tuesday night GM SantaLeet (300 fixer, but looked more like a Leet with a Santa hat) throw a party in Reet Retreat (see pic with Chronita, Maraskye and myself - but Sandzibar, Kashuya, Shojern were also there, and others may have joined after I left! - Santaleet is small and shiny with green name in the center of the pic, better pic from Chro here).

Sunday, December 23rd

Dec 23rd Assembly:

Again a very nice Assembly. 26 members attended (see pic). This time we worked on a more open basis to allow for more lively comments. Basically I would open discussions, and everyone would contribute freely, until discussion is closed, and we vote. I think it worked pretty well, thanks for all for staying (more or less) on topic.

Todays' discussions were about the Council:

  • The name has officially be decided: The Council - plain and simple. We can change it later if someone finds a good alternative. It was chosen as we need the name to be simple, not 'too much', corresponding to a School (no Samurai or Yakuza etc..)
  • The first 4 members have been appointed. The candidates were: Roubinette, Lisala, Ivul, Whiteorchid, Hoshiminh, Chronita, Kashuya, Timia (/Maita) (though the later was not present). Elected were: Whiteorchid, Roubinette, Lisla, and Ivul. We will vote again in 2 weeks for the last 2 members, so that we can be sure that all ppl can have a fair chance to vote. New candidates are allowed. We will need to decide when to change members of the Council.

Not disucssed: MA tournament. First try was cancelled due to lack of participants. We will try again, but people need to show that they are interested (or not) it wont happen all by itself! Thanx to Gladiel and Reihu for having tried. We will try again!

Thank you all for participating in the meeting! You can read the full log here

We then moved on to Pray for the Victims of the Terrorist Attacks in Omni Ant. We were joined by a couple of Omnis there at the moment (see pic)

New Members: Brillow (Apprentice), Ysaraa (Apprentice), Swiftmoon (Initiate), Wingto (Initiate) and Xingxun (Initiate)

Promoted to Monk: Whippingstar, Whootish

Promoted to Apprentice: Ozur, Punkmuffin

Do find me in the game to get promoted to your proper org rank. And remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section)

And: Congratulations to Ivul for his 80th Level !

Saturday, December 22nd

Another Clan attack on 2hO. Chronita and myself joined the forces that repelled the clanners. We first retook the whompa - by actually managing to kill a few clanners. They held the grid  for much longer. See here th aftermath one of our first and last effective try at attacking it (the clan member just killed was Lyzandra of PaKk).

An attack from Clan members is a bitter surprise considering the current amnesty. After this and the recent Bombing of Omni Ent, we should ask ourselves if the amnesty  is bringing anything? However, as always stated we are following Mr Ross's line, and until he changes his view, or we make it change it, we will not go against Omni Tek decisions. However, it is to be noted that we can wonder if those acts of violence only represent a minority or the majority of the Clans. Tonight, we saw representative of KBI, PaKk, Knights of Rubi-Ka among others.

OOC note: Large scale attack like this are rather fun to be part of until lvl 75 at least. That includes almost all levels below. At those levels, you can only be attacked by ppl of limited lvl difference, and can therefore wander around high level untouched. You just need to go in group, otherwise the chances are the attackers, probably well organized, will have a group for you :). Above lvl 75 i understand everybody can attack you, and with all those 140+ it is a bit difficult to survive long!

Tonight is the MA Tournament (Read full details here) has been cancelled.

New Members: Asamune (Apprentice), Pogan (Apprentice), Dancinglotus (Initiate), Eleonore (Initiate), Ozur (Initiate)

Do find me in the game to get promoted to your proper org rank. And remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section)

Friday, December 21st

Reihu has left Praetorian project to join us. He will still be organizing the MA tournament, together with Gladiel.

I will now be announcing promotions and new hires, as they became known to me (eg site update):

New Members: Reihu (Monk), Sara1 (Monk), Jahongchen (Initiate)

Promoted to Monk: Chronita, Diavilo, Fantomen

Promoted to Apprentice: Cryingsnake, Lichoon, Maraskye

Do find me in the game to get promoted to your proper org rank. And remember to find the Oriental Suit corresponding to your level! (read The Dojo section)

Wednesday, December 19th

Read full details of the upcoming MA tournament here.

Tuesday, December 18th

Roubinette wrote another file, this time on implants. See in The Library section (still in construction). way to go Roub! Merci!

Monday, December 17th

Gladiel worked with Rehiu of Praetorian to organize a MA tournament. More news to come soon, but book your agenda: next Saturday, December 22nd 8pm GMT (9pm CET, 3pm EST)

Roubinette wrote a file on MA nanos. See in The Library section (still in construction)

Sunday, December 16th

This time everyone was wearing his official suit (See nice pic here), after some trading though (many thanks in particular to Sandzibar for the stock of oriental suit he purchased and gave away). Looked great! We had a few less ppl due to timing. But congratulation to all attendees on quality of discussions. Very structured and efficient. Still lasted 1h30min though! We need to try to keep it below 1h.

  • Dress code: It was approved by all, with the following rule: Purple suit (called 'blue oriental suit' I dont know why) for initiate, blue suit (just called 'oriental suit') for apprentice, red for monks, and black ('kung fu') for masters, and members of the council (see below). We allow for limited exceptions for overequippers, based on (i) ppl doing their best efforts (ii) ppl wearing a coat of similar color to the suit they should be wearing. See illustration here (thx Chro!)
  • Council: It was approved to form a council of 7 ppl, each with specific functions. Decisions will still need be approved in full assembly. But the council will: help members, devote time to develop the Dojo/ organize events etc. It may also have specific functions such as discipline. Members will be volunteers, chosen by everyone. Lvl is not a criteria. Which functions for its members? who will volunteer? what will be be the council name? find out in the forums!
  • MA PvP: Many volunteered to test and report on the forums and next week assembly to see what would be the good rules.

Thank you all for participating in the meeting! You can read the full log here (some bits are missing due to my crashes grrr...).

Saturday, December 15th

Dojo raid on Steps of Madness. A fierce team with Roubinette, Flupper and I from the Dojo, and Ponka, Pinok and Yaella. We thought this would be easy, and went in wearing shades (see pic) - hey we were quite above the level intended by FC! Then it became clear it wouldn't be that easy, with 20k health monsters aggroing (see pic). We eventually made it to Neleb (see pic), but after more than 30min of fighting, it was clear we were not strong enough. With other monsters respawning, and I stuck in a wall (!!) it was the end, without having killed Neleb :( (see pic). Anyway, we didn't loose much Xp, most mobs were gray to us!

An we also have pics from our explorer of outer dimensions (Kashuya). Today, from the parallel world of O Ent! (see pic).

Friday, December 14th

Praetorian project tournament won't happen this saturday. More news later.

Wednesday, December 12th

No news from Phoenix on their event. But Rehiu of the Praetorian Project contacted the Dojo also as they intend to organize a MA tournament (ppl using MA, not only MA profession). It should be next Saturday. More news later. So it seems they will organize one before us! It could be nice to participate, and also see what rules they chose and how it works. Remember that if you test "MA-PvP", we arew waiting for your comments on this forum thread!

Tuesday, December 11th

Also, we have been invited by a clan guild (Phoenix, click here to visit their website)to participate in an event that they want to organize, potentially next sunday. More news to come up shortly if this happens.

Sunday, December 9th

2nd assembly with 25 people attending. As usual, people played a bit around while waiting to start. Today, Monk Ivul showed us how to mind-control your environment and walk on water (see pic).

Then the actual meeting started (see pic). With size increasing, we had to be more structured and focused on the discussions to keep it under 1 hour. As the org is fairly new, we still have many things to debate. Other meetings will allow for longer discussions of fewer subjects. But a lot of the discussions will also happen on the forums. So remember to check them. Overall a good meeting therefore, with the following being discused:

  • Ranking system was discussed. It was agreed to keep it as is is now (Department), until FC fixes the orgs.
  • Dress code: Everybody seemed to agree on the principle. More debates about what kind of clothes. Common coats are thought to be too common. But asian suits are complex to wear because they imply undressing the armors, which is a pb for the over-equipers. It was agreed to try to use Asian suits, and we would see how it works. Those who overequip can avoid wearing them. I would however suggest they wear a coat of the same color. Color code was not agreed upon. I suggest: Blue for aprentices, Red for monks, and Black for masters (and me). If you dont agree I've open a thread on the forums. I invite higher level char to purchase a few for lower levels (typically blue then). All should try to find a correct suit for next meeting. Ask ppl for help if need be.
  • The discussion on the sensei came to the following opinion: we should have a council of sensei, maybe with specific roles for each sensei (some kind of "ministers"). A thread is also open to discuss that.
  • A mailing list will be created, but mail adresses will remain private (only I will know them). Send me an email adress!
  • MA tournament is being tested, as you can see here with Flupper and Lovegod. For the record, Flupper won, by dying 2 sec after Lovegod! Keep on trying different rules (with or without heal, buffs etc.) and discuss it on the appropriate thread.
  • Timia is strengthening our relationship with former Overseers that have started their own guild. Maybe Timia should be Sensei of External relations?
  • A Dojo Party (recruiting party?) should also be organized later.
  • Other ideas mentionned: Creating titles (like 'Champion') for specific roles or accomplishments in the Dojo. People insisted on having someone to guide and/or recruit newbies. Rephlector  especially. We may also need to develop a way to settle any dispute that could arise between members.
  • Finally give your view on the way to manage assemblies, and what should be discussed buring live assemblies vs forums.

Thank you all for participating in the meeting! You can read the full log here.

Afterwards, a few of us finished the evening at Baboons, having drinks and dancing! (see pic)

Saturday, December 8th

Well although The Dojo does not promote leveling per se (nor the oposite, basically we promote having fun), we need to mention the record of the Dojo achieved by Gladiel, who became monk (lvl 50) 4.5 days after starting his MA, his very first character in AO (not a reroll starting with 10 million creds)!

Then Chronita brought me to Baboons.  Wasn't very full for a sturday night, but we came across madcap and dremell, and danced on the tables, see pic. We thought we would organize a Dojo party sometimes soon.

Thursday, December 6th

Special thanks to Annias who provided the new and quite nice graphics for the website!

Next Assembly will be held in Rome Red this time. Suggest alternative locations for the following one in the forums, here.

And check out this pic of me protected by Ivul and Sandziabr! Do we look more like Yakuzas than a School? hehe ;). And for future applicants: no this is not the Admission Jury!

Send me nice pics and i'll post them. If I do get some, I will create a 'pic of the week' section.

Wednesday, December 5th

The forums are up!

And see below the pics of the First Assembly: the one were the Dojo was created (thx to Flupper)

Monday, December 3rd

For practical reasons, the org form of the Dojo has been changed to Department. This allows us to have 7 ranks (instead of 5) and therefore, have a normal ranking system where 5th Dan, Monks and Apprentice can invite others. The drawback are twofold:

1) The rank names suck for us. But anyway, no org form has good rank names, and as your rank is your titlevel, we dont care so much about the rank name: we use the titlelevel (initiate, apprentice etc.)

2) You have all been reset to 'applicant'. Do stop by when im logged in so that i can give you the proper rank.

In practice: 5th dan will be rank 6 ('General'), Monks will be rank 5 ('Squad commander'), Apprentices will be rank 4 ('Unit commander'), and Initiates will be rank 3 ('Unit leader'), thus the only ones not able to invite.

Sunday, December 2nd

We had our first weekly assembly. 16 people attended - and 2 joined the Dojo during the meeting!

Some arrived before, and took a bath (see pic)!

Almost everyone was there on time, but we started late because, well women are women are late ;).

Eventually we formed a very nice circle. The debates went on for a full hour. We debated the future sensei, the issues with ranks, and the admittance of non-MA players. Stormas was admitted.as the School Doctor.

About ranks: it was reminded that as only 4th rank members can invite others, and even those are limited in number (?), those members wishing to recruit should tell nikh to be technically promoted to advisors, whereas those not wishing to should also tell nikh so that if they are advisor, they can be demoted to their normal level, to free up a position for someone willing to recruit.

Sensei was a sensitive topic, as everyone agreed we should have a sensei, but what he should be or how to select him was not agreed upon. It should be agreed on next assembly.

Lastsnake was also invited during the meeting.

After an hour, we decided to close the meeting, event though all the topics were not discussed. This was done with a last pray.

You can read the log (1hour...).

Thursday, November 29th

We will hold our weekly assembly next sunday, December 2, at 9pm CET, 3pm EST. Please let nikh now if this is an issue so that we can try to move it a bit (will probably stay in the 7-10pm CET timeframe).

Sunday, November 25th

The Dojo has been created. I didn't manage to take a screenshot of the memorable moment unfortunately! But Flupper did, and here they are: pic1 and pic2.
